Sometimes, you may want to prevent a URL from being indexed by search engines, either temporarily or permanently. Fortunately, the "Deactivate" feature in FlashSERP can help you achieve this. Here's how you can deactivate a URL:
First, navigate to your URL manager. You can do this by clicking on the "URL Manager" tab located on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
Once you're on your URL manager, you'll see a list of all the URLs associated with your website. To deactivate a URL, simply select the checkbox located on the left side of each URL.
Note: Click on the main selector besides "URL" to select all of your URLs!
After selecting the URL(s) you want to deactivate, you should see the "Deactivate" button located on the top right corner of the screen.
Click on this button, and our tool will immediately update the status of the selected URL(s) to "Deactivated" (learn more about URL indexation statuses here).
If you have deactivated some URLs and now want to send them for indexation, you can easily do so by following the steps outlined in this tutorial.
