DuckDuckGo (DDG) is a general-purpose search engine created to maintain user privacy while preventing the unfair distribution of search results that might arise from personalized search (also known as a filter bubble). User IP addresses and other information are not logged by DDG because it does not track its users. Additionally, DuckDuckGo does not divide its search results into multiple pages. Instead, all you have is one infinite scroll. This is far more practical because, in the case of Google, most internet users don't bother looking past the first page.
